Gladys Marie Mills Memorial Scholarship

The Gladys Marie Mills Memorial Scholarship awards an annual gift of $500 to a student pursuing higher education. The scholarship was established in honor of the life and legacy of Gladys Marie Mills to help further the scholastic achievements and aspirations of those pursuing their calling and who want to make lasting impact.

About The Scholarship

A life well-lived is measured not by what we get but by what we give. My grandma, Gladys, embodied a spirit of giving that overflowed to any and everyone that she encountered.

As kids, she was active in raising us and started college funds for each of her grandchildren early on in our lives. Not only did she help us get started in college, but she provided many times over the course of that journey through meals, pocket change, gas money, clothes, cars, a home — whatever we needed to succeed. Most of all, she gave her support, love, and invaluable life lessons as legendary grandparents do.

Behind every great giver is a good steward and Gladys was no exception to that. Like her, I believe in giving generously with what you have. This gift will continue to share the stewardship that she gifted to us and beyond what she imagined.
